
The Project One Sky contest challenges you to create a video which showcases how lockdown has been for you as students. It can be funny, creative or serious, the choice is yours. You will be competing in teams against schools all across the country for a place in the top 10. You will then vote for your three favourite videos to crown our winners. Prizes are up for grabs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Team guidelines
Teams should consist of 2 – 4 members each depending on class size.Â
Team Roles: There are multiple roles for students to choose from, however there are no restrictions on how many per role and all roles can be shared.
Director
The Director is in charge of what your video is about, the different shots required and the overall direction you want your video to take. Writing a script is recommended.
Actor
The actors are responsible for acting in the scenes your team has come up. There are no restrictions on how many actors you use, everyone in the group can act if they wish.
Editor
The editor will piece your video together, providing us with a final product to judge.
Video requirements
Video should showcase what your life as students has been like in lockdown, for example:

The preferred length for video entries is 1-3 minutes.

Filming
Video entries should be filmed in a landscape format.

Professional camera equipment & editing software IS NOT REQUIRED, with what is available to you!.

To enter the video please name your video in this format: Video Title / School Name.

In your entry, please include the names of each member in your team.
Judging criteria

Your entry will be judged on:
- Relevance of your entry to the competition topics.
- Creativity, Humour Engagement depending on style of video.
- Technical Ability.
The organisers and judges reserve the right to remove any entries from the competition that they feel may breach any of the Competition rules, the Terms & Conditions or may bring the competition into disrepute. Such entries will be disqualified.
General rules

The competition is open to all students who have / are currently taking part in the Project One Sky course.

A maximum of one entry per team is permitted.

Submissions may also not be accepted into the contest if the entry features an individual who has not given their consent to appear in the video.

Competition submissions containing any obscene, violent, racist or defamatory content will be automatically disqualified.

Entries that do not comply with the formal specifications will be automatically disqualified.
Calendar of dates
Quest 1 available
(12 – 23 Apr 2021)
Quest 1 is a single length class to encourage and guide students to make a <3 minute video about their positive experiences during lockdown.
Submission deadline
(23 Apr 2021)
Videos must be submitted by this date in order to be eligible for the competition.
Quest 2 available
(4 – 14 May 2021)
Quest 2 will be a showcase of some of the best video entries. Students will have a chance to vote on their favourites.
Voting closes
(14 May 2021)
Voting for your favourite video closes on this date. Voting can be done via the Quest 2 portal.
