Develop Character - By focussing on truth telling, a strong work/study ethic, compassion and ethical smartphone use, the students’ view of themselves and their ability to contribute to their community is developed.
Build Resilience - Most of the jobs that will exist in 2030 do not yet exist, and most of those jobs will not exist 5-10 years later.
The most important skills required by students will be social and emotional intelligence, as well as the ability to adapt.
Amongst other scientifically proven benefits, mindfulness meditation helps to develop these skills.
Be closer to Nature - Through play, voluntary simplicity and an appreciation for the outdoors, students learn to have gratitude for what life offers, and for the environment they live in.
